InterHigh teacher to run London Marathon
26/04/2019
InterHigh teacher Marilyn Rankin is to run the London Marathon on Sunday to raise funds for C in memory of her friend.
She will join over 42,000 runners at the start of the 26.2 mile run, which weaves its way past many of the city’s world famous landmarks.
Unlike many of those taking part, Marilyn was able to get advice from InterHigh school ambassador – athletics legend Colin Jackson.
“I was lucky enough to meet InterHigh’s new school ambassador Colin Jackson and told him about my marathon training,” said Marilyn.
“He was so inspirational and positive – so I’ve been training even harder.”
Everyone at InterHigh wishes Marilyn the very best for the marathon. To sponsor Marilyn for the marathon please click here to visit her JustGiving page.
