WHY STUDY GCSEs ONLINE?

Online study gives students the unique opportunity to study for their GCSE qualifications alongside existing commitments, with smaller class sizes and less disruption in lessons. Our GCSE level classes are taught and streamed live, with recordings accessible 24/7.

As the UK’s leading online school, we strive to have the best online GCSE courses, led by experienced teachers. We combine this specialised subject knowledge with personal tutor support to assist students every step of the way as they study online.

ABOUT GCSE ONLINE COURSES UK

All core GCSE and IGCSE subjects follow the exam board Edexcel, making it easy for our students to view the syllabus for each. The programme for each subject is both engaging and promotes independent learning and further enquiry.

We offer a core of 7 International GCSE courses online at Key Stage 4, which includes a wide range of subjects. GCSEs and IGCSEs are followed by thousands of schools in the UK and internationally and are recognised around the world.

These qualifications develop transferable skills, sought-after by top universities and employers across the world. Studying online with InterHigh means you get the same qualifications as students attending in-person schools, but with the added benefits and flexibility that come with online learning.

ONLINE GCSE RESOURCES AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Studying GCSE Maths, GCSE Science and GCSE English by distance learning also means access to school resources 24/7. Students can catch up on lessons, revisit complex topics and access resources at any time. So, whether you’re at home or on the go, you could be studying for an English exam, catching up on a maths lesson or squeezing in an extra hour to work on an assignment.

InterHigh has many ways for students to socialise outside of lesson time too. We have lots of clubs and societies for students to join in with, so they can meet other likeminded students in a safe space. We also hold in-person trips, events and even a Summer Ball!

EXPERT TEACHERS IN INTERACTIVE, LIVE STREAMED CLASSROOMS

InterHigh’s online, open learning platform and lesson library enable students to make progress in their studies. Our students have control over their learning and their interactions around the school; a personal, engaging teaching experience where they can directly and discretely question their tutors during and after classes. This ensures they have an in-depth understanding of the subject or topic before moving on. If they wish, they can always revisit full lesson recordings later on too.

Any further subjects outside of the 7 core options are charged at an additional fee, per subject, per year.

Assured Subjects

Pupils can also take Assured subjects to make up their 7 core subjects or as further subjects on top for an additional fee, per subject, per year.

Please be aware, Assured Subjects are not full IGCSE qualifications and therefore they would not count as IGCSE equivalents on a college or university application, however, they are useful in certain circumstances where a pupil is preparing an art or photography portfolio, or simply has an interest in a subject that will be useful for future studies.

Year 10 Additional and Assured Options

Our provision is flexible and allows you to learn through both recorded and live lessons. To ensure your additional and assured lessons are live for Year 10 (starting from September 2021), please pick only one subject from each column when registering. This will ensure there are no live lesson clashes. Additional and Assured subjects not listed below can be taken with all other subjects.
