InterHigh goes to Harry Potter

On the 7th November, we made our second trip to the Warner Bros Studios (Making of Harry Potter).  After our very first trip in November 2016, we received so much positive feedback from both students and parents that we decided another trip was definitely required.

Students from all over the UK travelled to the event in Watford to enjoy the studios and meet InterHigh Head Office staff.

The day started with students meeting their classmates and InterHigh staff, picking up their InterHigh scarves and briefed about the schedule for the day. Students all split into their groups (although we weren’t allowed to use the sorting hat) and got to know each other.

The students had the chance to explore the fantastic studios in their small groups.  There was a chance to see original costumes, breath-taking set designs and scenery, as well as authentic props used by the cast.

After lunch, the group had our picture taken by the ‘Knight Bus’ which featured in the films.  The afternoon was more hands-on with students learning wand combat with a wand choreographer to take on the infamous death-eaters amongst other activities.

It was a fantastic experience, one the staff, in particular, enjoyed greatly. It was wonderful to see the students enjoying themselves with old friends, and those they made on the day.

Our next event is the InterHigh activity weekend of April in Swindon. We would love to see as many students and their families attend this event.  For more information about this event, please contact natalie.davies@interhigh.co.uk or call us on 01873 813900.
