InterHigh Essentials: an innovative solution to your remote and home schooling struggles

InterHigh has always been at the forefront of innovating education. We started life as a complete online school seventeen years ago and haven’t looked back since. We believe in transformative education and providing a community for students to learn wherever they feel most comfortable, supported, creative and engaged.

Our school has been constantly exploring, curating and adapting the very best online resources and technologies to deliver an exceptionally engaging virtual environment for our students.

Online schooling has greatly benefitted many students during the pandemic. For example, InterHigh parent, Emma Beer, moved her son to our school due to Covid-19 after – an experience many will resonate with – finding it challenging to make a credible transition from ‘mum’ to ‘teacher’. Since enrolling him, Emma said: “He’s more settled into a routine and is far more engaged in learning at home. During the first two weeks of schools closing, it was difficult to home educate my son and I struggled to find material online which engaged him, meaning I had to constantly sit next to him to keep an eye on what he was doing. The crisis has unveiled an amazing opportunity for my son to try a different approach to education.”

In January, we decided to share our school with many more students and their families by creating a bespoke package of courses for the rest of the 2021 school year. We looked at what we could do to help alleviate the “pain” of families who were struggling with home schooling and remote learning.

Jacqueline Daniell, CEO of Wey Education, said:

“Our aim is to provide all young people with the opportunity to access an education that will inspire a lifelong love of learning – both pure and applied, and I believe  we have achieved something truly remarkable over the past 17 years at Wey Education.  Events this year have opened the eyes of many to the power and possibilities of online learning. We are excited to provide more families with the opportunity to study with us and experience our innovative and pioneering approach to teaching and learning in a virtual environment.”

Characteristic of Wey Education’s lean business processes, we took less than a week to develop the InterHigh Essentials package and take it to market.

InterHigh Essentials is a limited time offer of being fully enrolled in three subjects (English, Maths and Science) plus tutorial, on InterHigh’s platform. We priced it at £12 a day so that families could easily still benefit from the InterHigh experience while staying enrolled in their current school. Starting today, a child can experience first-hand why learning with InterHigh goes far beyond remote learning using slides or a course pack. Our parents and students find our online school easy to use, interactive and engaging.

Students receive:

  • Access to InterHigh “Way to Learn” Platform.
  • Enrolment in three core subject courses delivered live by experienced, qualified UK teachers trained at delivering classes online.
  • Interactive and engaging classes and exercises to foster a love of lifelong learning.

A child will:

  • Be learning virtually, in an environment that is characteristic of how we will learn, work and interact in the future.
  • Be fully engaged and excited to join a class of students from all over the world.
  • Rediscover a fresh relationship with learning in a safe and fun virtual classroom.
