Competition: Win a sporting masterclass with Colin Jackson CBE

InterHigh is delighted to have athletics legend, Colin Jackson CBE as our school
ambassador. To celebrate, we are launching a competition offering 8 pupils the
chance to win a sporting masterclass with the former 110m hurdles double world
champion on Wednesday 19th June in Cardiff.

Learn from a sporting legend

Colin, who has been an integral part of BBC Sport coverage since retiring in
2003, won an Olympic silver medal in 1988 and went on to become a two-time
world and Commonwealth champion and four-time European champion. He
dominated the 110m hurdles winning 44 consecutive races in the event between
1993 and 1995.

How to enter

In 1993 Colin set a new world record for the 110m hurdles in a time of 12.91
seconds. We are challenging pupils to produce a video clip no longer than 12.91
seconds – explaining what you love about attending InterHigh.

  • Open to all pupils at InterHigh
  • The video needs to be submitted in an MP4 or MOV format
  • The video can be a rap, a song, a poem etc.
  • Posts will be shared on InterHigh social media platforms

Please send as many entries as you like to katie.bramald@wedu.co.uk by the
closing date at midnight on 24 May 2019.

Good luck!
